Our Client is a leading Luxury retail group with a strong international and regional presence.

This exciting and senior level strategic position will be responsible for the oversight and development of all Luxury Retail Brands, Stores and Staff across the group and across the region.

The General Manager of Retail Business Development is responsible for managing and executing the brand strategies ensuring the achievement of brand objectives, brand representation, product segmentation, sales, and gross margin across all business channels of the Group's Emerging Brands.

Must have experience in the GCC Luxury Retail Market

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement multi-year strategic KPI targeting of annual growth to meet the Brands' long term financial projections and to identify and recommend potential areas for brand marketing investment to drive brand awareness and sales.

Oversee the running of the Stores and be responsible for maintaining and increasing value and controlling cost. Train and assign staff duties and supervise staff through the assigned Management team

Responsible for the oversight, buying, and merchandising of the Brand product in a timely and cost effective manner. Oversee the logistics of buying, importing and inventory control.

Ensure, along with the Administration Department that seasonal sales in stores are appropriately registered and communicated with the required municipalities in order to conduct seasonal sales on time and within the required regulations.

Responsible for identifying new distribution and retail opportunities and evaluating existing business KPI's to make recommendations on the appointment/renewal of retail agreements.

Responsible for oversight and review of Brand contracts, Location Contracts, Lease Agreements, along with the responsibility of negotiating said contracts to ensure cost containment.

Oversee and monitor the financial performance of the organization pertaining to store-related activities; develop and maintain Global Uniformity of Brands in store and coordinate the marketing programs for the brands and stores.

Oversee and participate in the generation of business reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis

10 - 15 + years in Luxury retail and managing a Commercial Business Development function.
