Job description / Role
Inspire selection are working in partnership with a major construction company based in Oman. Due to growth within the region, they are currently recruiting an MEP General Manager for their highly successful Engineering division.
Reporting into the CEO, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
Supervising Project Managers of MEP projects, Cold Rooms and AC Projects (AC ,ducted splits, package units, VRF systems, and Chillers).
Active involvement in Tendering / Estimation / Negotiations for the award of MEP / HVAC / Cold Rooms contracts.
Increasing sales through in-depth understanding of local market, main contractors and consultancy firms.
Sourcing engineers, technicians, and labour for various contracts from across the globe
Reducing the cost of procurement.
Improving company policies and procedures in relation to Projects Division.
Requirements
BSc Mechanical Engineering
Must have GCC experience
Experience within a contracting/construction company managing MEP and HVAC projects
Minimum 15-20 years previous experience in managing multiple projects at the same time
Experience in the preparation of tenders, procurement, and in acquiring contracts though proper pricing and negotiating with clients
Very high communication skills with consultants, clients, and main contractors
