Employment: Full Time

General Manager - Outdoor Furniture Sales
Salary: up to AED 30,000 based on experience plus bonus scheme
Location: Dubai

Our client, is in operations for more than 10 years in the UAE.
Supplying high end, top quality outdoor furniture for dining, lounging, bar, beach and pool. Their target market is mostly high end cafes, Restaurants, Hotels, Resorts and Spa`s, Clubs and Golf clubs.

Their client list includes some of the top 4 star and 5 star hotels across the UAE. They have their own manufacturing plant in Asia and warehousing in Dubai which ensures quality control, individual design and creation to the range.

Due to their future growth plans my client is seeking an experienced professional General Manager, reporting to the Managing Director, to head the business and take it to the next level and beyond

The Key Role is to manage the day to day operations of the business in the UAE and region as the business grows.

Key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- All functions of Marketing, Sales, Administration, Finance and operations
- Attend Board meetings
- Implementation of strategic plans
- Ensure relationships with suppliers and customers are kept at peak levels
- Develop, retain and motivate the team
- Manage the business in line with company values and beliefs
- Ensure strategy drive structure
- Devise and implement process` and procedures for efficient business operations
- Acquire and maintain market intelligence
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns
- Introduce sales strategies to identify key customers and prospective customers
- Implement sales objectives, targets and incentives
- Manage performance of the team
- Develop financial plans in support of business objectives.

Requirements

- MBA or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Sales / Marketing
- Hospitality sales experience desired but not essential
- Experience within the Middle East and preferably the UAE is essential
- A Minimum of 2 years experience at Senior Management level
- Knowledge of furniture product sales is an advantage
- Currently located in the Middle East or previously resided
