Job description / Role
Established in the 1800s, my client is a leading freight forwarding and maritime service provider. As a part of their continued expansion, they are looking for a Country Manager for their Bahrain office to manage the different departments in their marine business.
Their scope of business includes: Cargo Solutions, Marine Solutions, Supply Chain.
Requirements
- Working experience with an International Freight Forwarder is required
- Previous experience operational and commercial aspects of Ocean, Air and Sea imports and exports
- Demonstrate the ability to increase and secure new freight related business as well as increasing business from existing accounts
- Familiarity with local marketplace and trends
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
The right candidate will have a solid 5+ years of Middle East experience within the freight forwarding industry. You will hold key P&L responsibility for Bahrain, and have a headcount of 40+ reporting to you. The Country Manager will report directly to the Regional Vice President.
