Job description / Role
We are currently hiring for a General Manager of Soft Services (and Facility Management) to work for our client in Qatar. Our client have been established for more than 10 years working in Industrial Management, Trading, Property and Managed Services.
The role of General Manager will be responsible for:
- Establishing standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff.
- Plan work schedules and ensure adequate service.
- Submit to management recommendations for painting, repairs, furnishings, reallocation of space etc.
- Prepare the feasibility study for any project before signing it.
- General operations duties of GM role.
Requirements
For this role, we are seeking an expat national ideally who is not based in Qatar and wishes to relocate. English should be your native language. Must have managed a staff number of circa 1500 + and have excellent communications and proven managerial track record. Must have come from a Facilities Management or Hospitality industry and have prior experience in managing soft services; cleaners, painters, pest control etc. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in General Manager/Managing Director type role.
