Job description / Role
The leading transport and logistics organisation has been established since the 1960s' in Saudi Arabia and is key division of a diverse Saudi group. The organisation is in a period of change and growth; as a result an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager has arisen. Based in Dammam this is a key leadership role that will utilise all aspects of your general management skills. Key areas of responsibility include;
•Strategize marketing / business / development / operations / projects and to direct the activities to ensure achievement of respective sales targets and business plans.
•Responsible to enhance the reputation and relationship of the company with key customers and accounts in order to further the division's business interests.
•Manage and motivate the operations, projects and other personnel in order to synergise their efforts to the achievement of the target
Essential to this role is a Degree in Logistics Management, ideally with a post graduate qualification in Management. You will have 8 + years experience in senior management of a reputed organization in the transportation / logistics business. Experience of Strategic Planning, Team Management and business development are essential.
