General Manager

Job description / Role

Our client ProVita was established in 2011 in the Middle East in collaboration with the founder of ProVita clinics in Germany.

The long-term ventilator-dependent patient care facility in Abu Dhabi is one of the first of its kind in the region.

ProVita provides a nurturing family environment and is committed to ensuring the best quality of life possible to each of its patients and effectively assisting in their further rehabilitation. It has a capacity of approximately 40 beds with almost 100 nurses providing 24 hour care in addition to a full-fledged team of specially trained physicians. The facility is just over one year old and is already preparing for JCI accreditation later this summer.

We are looking to recruit an experienced and highly performant General Manager.

To be successful in this role you will need to have already gained significant operational management experience in an acute environment and have a proven track record of delivering on key performance targets, as well as being able to work effectively under pressure and motivate and engage staff at all levels. You will deliver a service that provides kind, safe and excellent healthcare where patients will be provided quality of life, and people will aspire to work.

Requirements

Education
• Degree or equivalent professional qualification
• MSc in Healthcare Management

Experience
• Minimum of 10 years experience of managing a clinical, social or equivalent service
• Middle Eastern Experience
• Full understanding of all aspects of Healthcare Management and Quality Improvement.
• Success in working collaboratively across professions and services
• Demonstrable success in planning and managing change
• Delivering service level change in clinical
• Significant budgetary management experience
