The RoleThe RoleGeneral Manager – Qatar Our client are a large Oil & Gas business who have been operating in the Middle East for over 50years. Due to current expansion they are looking for a General Manager to join their Qatar team. Reporting to the Regional Manager my client are currently recruiting a Senior Leadership Role at the level of a General Manager for a Facility with over 150 employees. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience managing an entire facility and its P&L, sales plans, operations, customer satisfaction, finances, human resources, HSE, and quality. •Proven Experience in developing operational plans, financial plans, business plans, and budgets for managing facility performance. •Experience developing & implementing Manufacturing processes •Responsible for developing and implementing process improvements which continuously improve growth objectives, and operational efficiencies. •Build relationships with Customers, Sales Teams, Engineering and Operational personnel to ensure that manufacturing and repair requirements are being made and business and financial goals are being met. •Meet repeating deadlines and financial targets •Drive the sales team to expand business |
RequirementsRequirements•Technical sales and operations experience •Strong product knowledge of rotating equipment, valves, API pressure control equipment. •Proven experience of Profit & Loss and delivery on budgets with Strong Commercial acumen •Should possess the ability to drive change •Previous experience in working within a multi-cultural environment and diverse workforce. •Financial understanding to formulate and manage annual business plans •Engineering or Technical background preferably through a formal bachelor’s degree program or higher. •Self-starter and ability to make technical and business decisions •Results oriented “a go getter” and driven to over achieve budgets |
