Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We require an experienced General Manager for an Interior Design and furnishing practice who specialize in creating custom-made solutions for the commercial, educational and healthcare spaces.

You will need local knowledge within the furniture industry having worked with local vendors.

Requirements

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Develop & provide business plan in line with business strategy to company; monitor the operational business unit performance against profit & loss.

2. Review and authorize business unit plans and budgets to ensure that plans are realistic and stretching and in alignment with projected business growth

3. Develop business strategy, gain approval and implement to ensure continuous performance, improvement and profitable growth.

4. Ensure achievement of business plans to meet revenue, profitability and other agreed targets.

5. Ensure and implement systems and guidelines to control credit in order to minimize finance costs and bad debts provisions.

6. Maintain the company image and good reputation by providing quality products and services meeting customers' expectations.

7. Manage the team in all key positions have the required knowledge, skills and competencies and are motivated to meet the business challenges.

8. Ensure that all necessary resources and assets are managed effectively

9. Establish and maintain close relationships with key players in the market in order to influence business objectives.

Organizational Relationships (Work Contacts):

Internal:
Build and maintain strong working relationships with all internal team who are equally responsible towards the success of the company.

10. Monthly meetings & update on business performance with the Group General Manager.
Interaction with all head office departments (Human Capital, Finance, Legal, Audit & Quality)

External: agencies, customers & vendors.
