Salary up to AED 35,000

Our healthcare client based in Dubai is looking to recruit a General Manager.

The General Manager will collaborate with the senior management team in head office to ensure consistent high standards of service and commitment to quality are met. They will collaborate on the design and implementation of the business development plan, as well as participate in the strategic sales, marketing, and promotion plan for the company. Locating and identifying opportunities, marketing and closing new accounts in accordance with corporate goals - whilst being held accountable for the P&L.

Organically the GM will have three functional heads reporting to them - Business Development, Clinical Care and Operations and they will direct their team to ensure quality service and care through their roles as follows:

Business Development - Oversee the direct report in the areas of:
- Seek and develop relationships with key stakeholders in UAE
- Develop and cultivate professional relationships with all clients
- Oversee the successful management of the entire business development process lead generation, credentials pitch, evaluation, account management, follow up, develop proposals, negotiation, and closing agreements
- Self-manage large strategic accounts and work towards the development of partnerships, qualification of business opportunities, and long-term growth plans for the company's business
- Be visible to the workforce and customer
- Direct the sales, marketing and promotional strategies and guide on how to further penetrate existing ones, and enhance awareness and interest of prospective clients
- Review promotional activities such as exhibitions, conferences and seminars
- Build on own existing relationships to promote the business and presence in the community

Clinical Care - Oversee the direct report in the areas of:
- Ensure the licensing and compliance aspects of the business are in place
- Support the Clinical Team where required in their training and continuous medical development of the workforce
- Continuously ensure the welfare of the workforce
- Ensure client care and the customer experience is flawless and tailored
- Advice on assessing patients in hospital
- Continuous improvement of policies and procedures
- Recruitment/HR/Appraisals for Clinical Care Community
- Onboarding and Recruitment

Requirements

Operations Management - Oversee the direct report in the areas of:
- Understanding the scope of operational effectiveness within the Head Office and outside
- Being Operational aware and hands on to understand potential issues with:
- Scheduling of drivers/administrators and nurses
- HR elements associated with Admin and Drivers
- Drivers/cars/Samtech
- Collaboration with Accounts
- Collaboration with Clinical Care
- Operational elements relating to Nurses - timekeeping/uniforms
- Ensuring bookings/enquires are followed up
- Compiling reports on clients and bookings
- Contracts/insurance/office
- General office management (NOCs, COE etc.)

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Extensive medical industry experience
- Qualified Nurse or Doctor would be beneficial
- Management Qualifications also preferred
- Situational Leadership skills
- Engaging presentation skills
- Outstanding negotiation skills
