General Manager

Job description / Role

A female VVIP Dubai based client is looking to recruit an experienced general manager who has a strong background in marketing and could assure the successful development of the new business line. The desired candidate must be passionate about learning new methods and incorporating those in business development strategies, should be enthusiastic about growing the business and growing with it. A performance based development will be in place for the successful candidate.

Key job responsibilities will include to:
- Oversee the companys business, its operational and financial functions.
- Create production & delivery of the companys designs and intellectual properties.
- Drive improvements and develop best practices in the design, selling & marketing aspects of the company, as well as administrating financial governance and corporate risk management.
- Develop and lead the strategy and expansion plans and due diligence.
- Develop the investment thesis and analysis.
- Manage corporate budgets and controls.

The successful candidate may also be designated to review or/and oversee the strategies and performance of other sister companies as and when required.

Requirements

- A degree in Business Management/Marketing or equivalent level of experience.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. Must have a sound track record of previous successful achievements in a similar managerial role.
- Flexibility with the working schedule and willingness to travel (if required).
- Female candidates required.
- Arabic speaking candidates will be preferred.
- Should possess the ability to develop, implement, manage and monitor effective business and financial systems and procedures.
- Must have experience and understanding of human resource practices, policies and procedures.
