Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

General Manager,
USD 6,000 to USD 10,000 per month,
Iraq – Baghdad

Our client is currently seeking a General Manager to run the day to day operations of running our clients organization in Baghdad, Iraq.

There is no limitation on the below responsibilities of this role in the beginning; it will be a one man show until the team is built.

Some responsibilities will include:

• Follow the article to open an LLC company as per Law
• Orientation to the company(s) structure and business nature
• Obtain necessary approvals from Ministries and Departments to execute and perform our clients business in Iraq
• Finding the right office location and justify reasons
• Office interiors & Furniture
• Electricity, Generator and all Utilities setup
• Tele-communication setup inside the office
• Furniture setup
• Writing report on daily basis (daily log)
• Office Technical setup
• Payment as approved

Once the office is opened:

• Implementing the approved business plan
• Build the company infrastructure as per project plan
• Define work process and flows
• Build the team
• Initiate business relationship as per client list
• Implementation of the strategy plan
• Day to day operations
• Create the operational SOP of the business
• Follow the KPI’s standards and make sure all Risk assessments are followed correctly for the auditing purposes
• Write a daily or as required reports/log to the reporting manager
• Manage, supervise and control the logistics (as per definition in the strategy plan)
• Study the market needs and create opportunities for investments
• Manage the staff on daily basis
• Handling and managing the HR, Admin, Accounting, PR, and Marketing & Media

Requirements

Criteria:

• Must currently reside in Iraq
• College Graduates
• English and Arabic Language (Writing and Reading)
• Computer oriented
• Business Administration
• Project Management
• General Trading job knowledge an advantage
• Import & Export
• High Communication skills
• Report writing skills
• Coaching, Negotiation and problem solving skills
• Business Analysis
