The RoleThe RoleShip Agency and Logistics Services Salary US$110-120,000 Tax Free + full expat package Kuwait Our client urgently requires an experienced General Manager for their well established business based in Kuwait, reporting to the Area Director this will be a challenging role but one with tremendous possibilities for developing the business and taking new initiatives and ensuring a profitable operation. Candidates must have experience in Ship Agency, Terminal & Stevedoring Operations and Forwarding activities. Our client seeks a strong leader with relevant shipping experience and commercial flair. Responsibilities: • Overall responsibility for the daily operation of the company including Profit & Loss responsibility. • Develop and implement effective planning, budget and financial systems, and report according to instructions from Head Office and Regional Office. • Actively seek new business opportunities • Establish agreements with vendors and sub contractors including sub agency agreements required to execute responsibilities agreed with customers • Ensure that the Company is properly staffed with qualified and motivated employees • Responsible for implementing quality management systems and processes in order to offer first class services to customers. |
