The Role


Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager of Retail will be responsible for leading the company's operational functions and activities. As a member of the senior leadership team, your key mandate will be to develop the operational and sales performance of the business through effective leadership. You will grow market share, maximise sales and profits and provide expert advice and market insight to influence commercial decision making.
As the largest gold and jewellery business in the Middle East, and amongst the Top players in its field globally, the business has aggressive growth strategies in place.

Degree qualified, you will be an experienced Senior Executive with a proven track record of successfully leading and developing organisations during periods of growth and expansion. Your stakeholder management skills and engaging leadership style will enable you to have an immediate impact, gain internal support and drive results. The role requires someone with outstanding commercial acumen and the ability to successfully identify relevant business opportunities to increase the profitability and profile of the organisation. The successful candidate must have previous experience within the jewellery retail sector. Middle East experience is preferred but not mandatory.
