The RoleThe RoleA leading group of companies within Saudi Arabia is looking for a General Manager for its Oil and Gas Trading Company. The company exclusively represents a long list of international companies with products such as chemicals and lubricants, electrical cables and mechanical and control equipment for oil and gas production and processing. In addition, it provides maintenance services for rigs and petrochemical plants. The main purpose of the General Manager’s Job is to oversee the execution of the companies strategies and policies approved by the Board of Directors. General Manager sets and implements directions for the company and oversees the operations and the development of the Company. |
RequirementsRequirements1. Extensive experience & knowledge in Oil & Gas industry especially in International Oil & Gas Sector 2. Has worked in GCC countries 3. Having Bachelors Degree, preferably in Engineering 4. Originally from North America, Europe , Australia or South Africa [Non-Arab] 5. Technical skills required will be in Oil & Gas. 6. This individual will be involved in every aspect of the Company’s Oil/Gas Division and will be handling everything. He will directly be reporting to the Executive Director for the company, and will have the entire operational and management responsibility for the Company’s Oil/Gas Division. This will include the overall business development, building external relationships with key players within the oilfield services industry, managing each of the Divisional Managers by providing them with strategic direction, budgetary control and generic coordination of all the functions within the group. 7. We are preferably looking for someone who’s energetic, motivated, but also very qualified. He will be dealing with major contracting companies, therefore he needs to be a smart, groomed and convincing individual, as he should be able to negotiate and bring in new projects for the company. He should overall have a striking personality and should have the ability to facilitate us in expanding our business. |
