The RoleThe RoleMy Client based in Saudi Arabia is seeking a experienced General Service Manager to Enforces budgetary control and ensure that targets are met by all Service Centres. Ensures that all Service Centres are operating smoothly according to Company Policy & Procedures. Strengthens service marketing activity in the area and increase number of units serviced, labor sales, and other sales through: -Contracts with fleet users -Local campaigns -Suggest national campaign Proposes short term and long term recruitment requirements plan for productive and non-productive to D.G.M. Effectively utilizes manpower and facilities of all Service Centre to reduce idle time (inter- Regions transfers). Monitors competitors’ activities and customer requirements. Builds teamwork spirit between staff of all Service Centres. Improves Service Centre productivity through: -Upgrading staff skill (training) -Availability of equipment & SSTs -Proper utilization of facilities -Implementation of Fix It Right program. Ensures cooperation between service managers and other departments in the Centres. Ensures that proper OJT is given to new technicians. Ensure proper Mentor Program for SJAHI & ACCL Productive. Executes & supports all Service Marketing Plans. MSI Reports and Strategy for future growth. Service system development and enhancements. Ensure associate empowerment through distribution job descriptions and salary scheme along with career path. Supervises and processes monthly incentives for Service Managers and service staff. Rationalize incentive policies to align service staff with the organizational goals. Ensures that CSI meets as per the target laid by the Company. Create and maintain an atmosphere in which employees willingly produce at maximum capacity |
RequirementsRequirementsB.A/.Sc. Degree holder Mechanical Engineer (preferably in Automobiles) or equivalent. Minimum of 10 years experience in a reputable business company dealing with automotive (after sales service), and worked as service manager. Fluent in oral and written communication both in English. Strong leadership personality. Should possess an inquisitive nature of thinking with ability to analyse and identify the complexity nature of matter. Familiar with automobile product to include parts, sales and service, preferably Ford Ability to analyse results and prepare management reports. Formulates plans to achieve company’s objectives. Maintains competent and dedicated staff. Defines clearly the policies, procedures, and control system to attain objectives. Knows to appraise and utilize staff. Issues written and oral instruction. Properly trained in dealing with all level of customers. Ability to assess Service Center’s operation. Possess the character to train others on related subjects. |
