The RoleThe RoleSummary: Diagnose, maintain and provide preventive maintenance across a broad spectrum of power generating equipment from a disparate array of manufacturers and spread across multiple locations aboard an active Military Installation. Assess equipment's mechanical functionality in support of and in accordance with the objectives of maintaining ongoing equipment utilization and operability. Identification of required maintenance and repairs to be performed is of critical importance. Identify required parts and materials to be procured/ordered. Be familiar with and utilize Industry Standard Instruments, Tools and Diagnostic Services in support of required tasks. Conduct ongoing inspections of the equipment base to prepare corrective, remedial and/or sustainment action requirements. Full understand the impact of harsh local conditions and the related impact on generator performance and prepare recommendations in accordance with the same to maximize operational effectiveness and efficiency. Duties: 1. Assures operability of broad range of power generation equipment 2. Prepares, maintains and disseminates accurate reporting reflective of operability, serviceability, and required parts and material 3. Routinely performs inspections and assessments of equipment in accordance with customer needs and directives 4. Follow verbal and written orders in accordance with prescribed duties 5. Broad spectrum execution of sustainment and repair operations 6. Executes duties in conformity with Industry Standard & Prescribed Safety Practices, Policies and Standards |
RequirementsRequirements1. High School Diploma/GED mandatory; Trade School Certificates preferred 2. 7+ years experience 3. Experience in Military environment preferred 4. Able to operate with minimal supervision 5. Mid-level functionality with Microsoft Excel 6. Current driver's license 7. General ability to perform recurring and repetitive physically exerting efforts 8. English fluency is a must Please apply online. |
