Job description / Role
ABOUT CLIENT:
A well-established oil corporation of Middle-east
JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE:
1. Execute geophysics specialist technical studies such as, forward seismic modeling and deterministic seismic inversion with the aim of reducing risks for field appraisal/development and exploration targets.
2. Defines and organizes the training of geoscientists and participates in programs related to development of geoscientists with particular attention to UAE Nationals.
3. Integrates work with other subsurface disciplines and networks with other geoscientists and reservoir engineers in PDD to understand and predict reservoir, seal and source rock development in the concession and adjacent areas. Support the development of new plays especially in subtle strati graphic trapping configurations.
REMUNERATION:
An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
Masters Degree in appropriate scientific background (e.g. Geology, Geophysics and Mathematics).
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
12+ years of oil industry experience, 6-8 years of experience in area of specialty.
