Geotechnical Supervisor

One of the World’s leading Engineering and Design Consultancies are currently looking for experienced Geotechnical Supervisors to supervise the geotechnical survey works on site for a highly prestigious project in Doha.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant Geoscience subject with a minimum of 10 years supervision experience in on- and offshore site investigation programme, preferably within the context of soil and rock investigations for maritime structures, bridges and tunnels. You must have experience with ground investigations in Qatar, or at least in UAE/SA/Oman. The successful candidate will have proven hands-on experience, supervising ground investigations on site; taking responsibility for health & safety. You must also have experience in (supervision of) rotary rock coring techniques (PQ wireline or Geobore S wireline), logging rock and soils and performing laboratory work in accordance with ASTM and ISRM standards.
