Job description / Role
As a Global Communications Manager, you will primarily develop, maintain and promote all aspects of our client's corporate image internationally and in Qatar via conference, exhibitions, events, publications and the media, speeches and presentations. You have to work closely with the CEO and the executive team in the management of relationships at an industry and governmental level inside and outside Qatar.
You will also develop and promote the desired corporate image our our client.Managing and coordinating with strategic business development team, government ministries, embassies, national and international companies and organizations for VIP events, such as official signing ceremonies, conferences, government level visits to Qatar and to overseas locations will be a part of your role. You will be providing counsel to senior executives on messaging and media relations and host media interviews.
Requirements
You will possess a Bachelors of Science degree from a recognised University/College in Public Relations or Mass Media coverage with 12 years experience in public relations or related field like Marketing, Government relations. Apart from this, 8 years experience in a senior supervisory is mandatory.
Being a Global Communications Manager, sound knowledge of the Qatar rules and regulations with respect to formalities is expected and you should be proficient in Arabic and English.You should also have excellent managerial and communication skills and strong cultural awareness.
