The RoleThe RoleOur client, a global industry leading FMCG organisation with over 400 brands spanning 14 categories of food, home and personal care products has been present in the MENA region since 1933. Today they employ over 200,000 people in 100 countries worldwide, and support the jobs of many thousands of distributors, contractors and suppliers. Due to planned further growth worldwide they are now looking to recruit an Global Communications Manager. As part of the newly created global communications strategy, planning and message function, this role will contribute to: Developing and delivering an integrated communications planning capability based on a single global strategy. The development of KPIs for global communications output and delivery against them. Ensuring that all activities and messages are phased and aligned within an agreed plan and timescale. Building a globally aligned team with a sense of common purpose. |
RequirementsRequirements Minimum of 5 years experience in a communications role and/or external/public affairs. A team player with a global mindset who is willing to work across communications disciplines, geographies and functions. Stakeholder management and knowledge. Strategic Issues Management expertise. Lobbying and Advocacy campaigning. Knowledge of FMCG sector. Network of established external contacts with political, NGO, industry and academic key opinion formers. Experience at regional or local level in External Affairs. |
