Government Relations Administrator

Job description / Role

- Responsible for assisting in handling all government related activities including renewal of official permits, visas and other required documentation are handled in a precise and accurate manner.
- Handle day to day contacts with government entities, authorities and other relevant organizations in order to maintain valuable relationships and ensure smooth operations of the governmental relations activities.
- Follow policies and procedures and abide by all laws and governmental regulations affecting the company.
- Coordinate personnel requests with the government by placing applications and making trips to government offices as necessary.
- Carry out customs clearance activities (airport, seaport, land port) as needed.
- Handle issuance of work visas and sponsorships.
- Handle and keep track of employee records and visas.
- Assist in handling the processing of requests for permanent visa/residency for candidate and family and notify Recruitment of the approval or the reasons for rejection.
- Assist in handling the processing of request for visit visas and notify requesting department of the approval or the reasons for rejection.
- Assist in handling the processing of sponsorship transfer and renewal of official permits and notify requesting department of the approval or the reasons for rejection.
- Assist in handling the processing of exit and re-entry permits.
- Assist in handling the processing of deportation and clearance requests as a result of employee separation.
- Assist in handling the processing of issuance and renewal of licenses and other governmental transactions.
- Maintain and update records related to the government relations activities.

Requirements

- High School Diploma
- Two years of relevant work experience in Government Relations.
