Government Relations Officer

Job description / Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Government Relations Officer who will be responsible in processing and carrying out all transactions relating to visas, permits, licenses, registration, pertaining to employees, liaising with various Government departments.

- Process all types of visas including employment visas, residence visas for employees as well as guests.
- Process and renew of permits and licenses
- Registration process and renew for all vehicles
- Be up to date with regard to any changes or amendments to the prevailing laws / rules / regulations, changes in forms / formats and other procedures and keep the Human Resources Department advised of such changes
- Submit relevant documents periodically to the immigration / labour office
- Complete departure and exit formalities for employees after cancellation of visas

Requirements

The successful candidate must have previous PRO experience, must be fluent Arabic and English speaking, reading and writing, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven abilities to communicate effectively, proficient in computer such as Microsoft Office.

Solid experience in UAE Military such as arranging base passes etc. and strong Abu Dhabi immigration and visa experience.
