My client is a multinational defence, security and aerospace company.

The Qatar Government Sector Lead will be the leader for the government sector in Qatar, reporting into the Middle East Business Development Director.
The role is predominantly a business development role, based in Doha, and will be responsible for all of Applied Intelligences' business (Cyber Security, Communications Solutions & NetReveal) across all government institutions in Qatar. In addition, all government-sponsored sales to telecommunications service providers in Qatar will also fall under the Sector Leads responsibility.

What you will be doing
Business Development

The Qatar Government Sector Lead is responsible/accountable for all Business Development within Qatar government sector with responsibility to meet the Order Intake targets for all Business Units within their sector. The Sector Lead is responsible for accurate sales forecasting throughout the year within their sector.

The Sector Lead will work with their teams to farm existing accounts in a co-ordinated manner, whilst also identifying new target accounts that fit the Middle East Strategy and product portfolio. The Sector Lead is responsible for developing and executing Sector Plans:

- Create consolidated view of key accounts where we are executing business;
- Identify target new accounts that fit with strategy and product portfolio and develop plan to penetrate;
- Identify strategic partners/suppliers required to support execution of sector plan;
- Identify and manage cross account stakeholders;
- Develop and execute sector level sales campaigns.

The Sector Lead will manage relationships with clients and partners to ensure customer satisfaction on in flight projects. They will manage Director level relationships with key clients where appropriate, and develop stakeholder management plans.

The Sector Lead will manage relationships with other stakeholders within their sector including Embassies, Partners, Suppliers etc. The Sector Lead is responsible for customer satisfaction in the Qatar government sector.

Requirements

ONLY NATO COUNTRY NATIONALS WITH BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

Background in government sector with knowledge of national security/law enforcement.
Strong sales background & negotiation skills.
Experience in undertaking sales and account management activities and leading sales teams and client campaigns with an ICT NS/LEA focus.
Solution sales of complex solutions (sales cycle of 6 24 months).
Experience in a Middle East business development role preferable.
Good understanding of software implementation and services delivery.
Highly developed written and oral communications skills.
Ability to influence and motivate on a regional scale.
Initiative, flexibility, drive and commitment to personal development.
