Our client is a large asset management company who are recruiting for a Graphic Design Manager
The role is to manage a team of graphic designers and to bring the design capability in-house and use agencies only as an over flow
Responsibilities
• Maintaining the firm brand and visual identity
• Management of the Design and graphics team
• Controlling budgets
• Managing workflow and various projects
• Ensuring processes are efficient and effective as possible
• Working with the BD and Marketing team

• Experience in leading a team and people
• In depth knowledge of quark, indesign and/or Photoshop
• Background of working in real estate, Professional or financial services
• Managed agencies and budgets
• Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively
• Candidates must contain good managerial/organizational skills.
• Must be creative in the framework of the field, collaborative with different functions and individuals relevant in the working environment.
• Efficient time-management, planning, overseeing and monitoring skills are required.
• Strong prior knowledge regarding creation of designs and sample layouts.
• Competencies regarding employee consulting, delegating duties and training is necessary for the overall process of the tasks and final outcome, as per company standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of graphic design principles, a wide variety of media, and production methods.
• Familiarity with digital file formats (tiff, gif, eps, pdf) and the strengths and weaknesses of each. Must be able to perform a wide range of routine to complex duties including development of: publications, brochures, rack cards, posters, fliers, multimedia illustration, logo development, brand development, exhibits, and web-design.
• Individual must be able to multi-task and work under very tight deadlines.
• Must work well in a team, with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, website designers and outside marketing specialists.
• Must have a good understanding of the printing process, including working with and creating artwork for digital printers and presses.
