The Role


The Role

For an International company based in Dubai Applicants for this position should have a minimum of 2 years of experience and a rich portfolio as a graphic designer concentrating in the following areas: Web Design, and Interactive Presentations. You will be working on a variety of Websites, Presentations, and updates. Must have a Diploma in BFA/BFA in graphic design or Computer Science.

Responsibilities will include Create/animate Websites, Flash Presentations, new Concepts based on knowledge of interactivity, layout and visual effects, Apply concept, grid, and consistency on all the Web Pages. Develop/Draft new Web applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications. Create/Draft a company-wide Intranet, allowing data manipulation for each internal staff member. Prepare the image and copyrights of the company on the internet for approval. Develop/ Prepare database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing, Perform complete testing of Web applications–unit and system, engaging users as necessary. Draft/create animated banners, buttons, icons, web images. Propose concepts and special effects enriching the website. Work in parallel with the Software Department to assure accuracy and productivity of Design and comply with clients’ needs/changes,etc. Salary on Application.

For this position, we are looking for candidates that have knowledge in the following areas: Specialized in Adobe Dreamweaver, Flex, Flash Builder, Flash and Adobe Illustrator. Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection is a Plus. Computer Science Skills: ColdFusion 7 +, SQL, Object Oriented ColdFusion Development, Microsoft SQL Server 2005.Script Languages: Worked on search engine optimization, action script 3.0, 2.0, Java, .php, .net, etc. IT Background: Knowledge of latest technologies in the market and technical IT terms. Graphics Engine Knowledge: Strong knowledge of plugins, platform performance restrictions, search engine capabilities and compatibility. Web Application Developer & Server: Supporting the existing infrastructure as well as develop new technologies. Marketing: Knowledge of marketing communication and understanding viewer’s reactions. Solid understanding of client deliverables, and the ability to take responsibility for them and to win them as a loyal client. Knowledge of context principles and methods for promoting, or selling product or service. This includes marketing strategies and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems. Theory of Color: Strong knowledge of color as formats and their output when using color filters and transitions on the video. Composition: Unique arrangement of buttons, icons, content, and items across the interface.
