Group Account Director

One of the region's leading advertising agencies is looking for a Group Account Director to join their team in Riyadh.

They are known for their large bluechip chients who are leaders in FMCG and Retail, as well as their creative and diverse communication campaigns, which cover everything under the marketing umbrella. This includes everything from ATL, BTL, digital and brand activations.

The Role
As a Group Account Director you will be managing large pieces of business. This is a senior management position, reporting into the Managing Director. The Group Account Director will take charge of a key FMCG account and work on other accounts from a project to project basis.

The FMCG client is a well-known brand and the work covers everything from annual communications strategy, tactical communication plans, product launches and digital activations. It's a very diverse and exciting account with a great creative edge to it.

The Group Account Director will lead a large team up to 10. The agency great creative team, as well as production and staffing department, enabling the agency to have a full offering. Experience in working with all departments is important.

As well as the usual account handling and people management duties, this role will involve you getting involved in the business planning, helping to grow the agencies offering and reputation, as well as business development.

Requirements

The ideal Group Account Director will have a strong background in Experiential marketing. FMCG experience is also highly desirable. You will be adept at dealing with clients at a senior business level and possess bags of gravitas.

A good leadership style is also required as this role will have a good amount of people development involved.
