Employment: Full Time

Our client, one of the leading and fast-growing holding companies in Abu Dhabi, is looking for a Group Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing new business opportunities & partnerships and expanding current business operations. This position reports directly to the MD.

JOB OBJECTIVES:
- To conduct researches and development activities to expand the groups operations and present findings.
- To promote the image and product and services offered by the group.
- To provide all the necessary support to the Subsidiaries General Managers in continuously expanding the existing market for the groups existing line of products and services and seek and develop new markets.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyzes the market and recommends opportunities for pursuit.
- Forecasts short and long range market potentials.
- Develops strategies, examines risks and potentials, estimates needs and goals.
- Develops proposals, solutions, white papers and business plans.
- Introduces the group to potential customers & business partners.
- Defines and follows up on yearly targets and objectives.
- Manages reporting and analysis of the business development pipeline.
- Develops and maintains working relationships with similar and/or complementary companies to include teaming and partnership discussions.
- Comply with all corporate policies and procedures, including quality assurance and security procedures in the performance of duties.
- Strengthens the relationship between the companys existing business partners and establish good relationship with prospective business partners.
- Develops and implements business development and marketing strategy in the company, by selecting, segmenting and targeting markets, and promoting the companys business to those markets.
- Identifies and analyzes the companys strengths and weaknesses, and respond to opportunities and threats in the business environment.
- Attends Exhibitions & Seminars regionally and internationally.

Requirements

- Graduate of a Bachelors Degree in Finance
- Holds a Masters Degree or MBA
- 10-15 years experience (experience in a holding group is desirable) with at least 5 years experience in a similar post.
- Excellent communication (English & Arabic), negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent track record.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & reporting skills.
- Strong client management & negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated and result oriented.
- Ability to build & maintain business relationships and develop trust with high level executives.
