Job description / Role
A well established international general merchandise retailer is currently looking for a Group Business Support Manager to join their growing team in Doha, Qatar.
This highly challenging role will involve the following responsibilities:
* Identify, develop and implement automated systems and process that support the business initiatives.
* Ensure effective and timely support to equipment failure and system downtime.
* Keep updated of the latest technological development within the industry to make sure that the business is running with the most cost efficient and up to date systems.
* Maintain an inventory of systems and document requirements for system enhancements/developments.
* Establish a strong working relationship with key departments, external contractors and service provider.
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications:
* Bachelors degree or equivalent.
* At least seven years of job related experience within retail.
* Systems integration experience across a wide range of skills and disciplines.
* IT Management experience within a commercial business environment.
* Hands-on and customer focused.
* Able to work independently as well as with a team.
