Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Salary: AED 40,000 + Annual Bonus & Family Benefits

Our client is a large 30 year old trading company dealing in property, travel & tourism, laundry, car leasing, transportation, IT and manpower supply.

Reporting directly to the group’s Executive Director and Managing Director, this role is pivotal in developing and implementing the Human Resources strategy in a manner that enables the Group to achieve its business objectives and in line with the organisation's values

The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• HR Strategy and Branding: Develops and implements the Human Resources Strategy in line with Company's business plans. Budgets, Policies and Procedures: Reviews annual manpower budgets, builds the Recruitment, Learning, HR &Development and Related Budgets.
• Performance Management: Implements the Annual Performance Appraisal Calendar across the Organization; trains, guides and assists Heads of Departments in conducting objective performance appraisals.
• Recruitment: Leads the Recruitment process ensuring quality candidates are sourced in a timely manner and within budget boundaries. Headhunting & recruiting both professional & blue collar labor.
• Compensation and Benefits: Conducts market research and analysis on remuneration rates and benefits to determine the Company's ranking in the market; reviews and recommends accordingly achieving competitive positioning in the industry.
• HR Operation: Overviews the day-to-day operation of the Human Resources: leads and guides the team as required to achieve daily smooth run, and maximum productivity.
• Employee Relations: Provides consultation to employees and Heads of Departments, and in relation to contractual compensation & benefits, labor law, policies and procedures and HR best practices; Learning & Development: Sets and implements systems for identifying Learning needs throughout the Organization; analyses and effectively addresses the Learning requirements.
• Reporting: Compiles and analyses complex reports to enable business decision making.
• Networking: Creates and maintains network within the industry to enable exchange of HR best practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an HR Graduate and have 7-10 solid years of HR experience with progressive responsibility with a minimum of 3 years managing a multi-entity, multi-cultural group of companies. You are also expected to have a strong understanding of HR business implications, be cost-consciousness and have personal & professional credibility.
