Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working exclusively with one of the region's top media companies. Based in Dubai, the Group HR Director will work closely with the CEO in the development and implementation of new initiatives and projects to support the company throughout a substantial growth period.
This position is a regional role, covering approximately 8 different countries globally. The role will be extremely varied but initially will be focused on developing retention strategies, training and development plans and employee engagement. Managing a small team, you will be involved in coaching, training and mentoring your team as well as providing guidance to the senior leadership team in the development of HR policies and procedures, organizational development and the deployment of HR strategy.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have strong regional experience and be fully versed with UAE Labour laws. Experience of working in a start-up function and developing a HR function from scratch is essential. Any exposure to the professional services or media sector is highly beneficial as is a professional HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent). Candidates who have experience of working within a multinational company, either in the UAE or internationally will be preferred.
