Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working exclusively with one of the regions top media companies. Our client is looking to hire a Group HR Director to work closely with the CEO in the development and implementation of new initiatives and projects to support the company throughout a substantial growth period.
This position is a regional role, covering approximately 8 different countries. The role will be extremely varied but initially will be focused on developing retention strategies, training and development plans and employee engagement. Managing a small team, you will be involved in coaching, training and mentoring as well as providing guidance to the senior leadership team in the development of HR policies and procedures, organisational development and the deployment of HR strategy.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have strong regional experience and be fully versed with UAE labour laws. Experience of working in a start-up function and developing an HR function from scratch is essential. Any exposure to the professional services or media sector would be highly beneficial as would a professional HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent). Candidates who have experience of working within a multinational company, either in the UAE or internationally will be preferred.
