Our client, a leading retail group in Saudi Arabia, is looking for a Group HR Head to join. This is a hands on position which requires you to manage and develop the HR department and achieve strategic goals for the business.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop company specific HR strategy and present the plan and approach for HR activities for the short and long term.
• Provide professional HR advice to the CEO and Business Heads. Ensure HR standards are achieved, communicated and maintained within all areas of the business.
• Discuss manpower requirements vis-à-vis business plans with line managers & CEO, seek details and justifications, provide inputs to help fine-tune the requirements and prepare manpower plan and budget for inclusion in the overall annual budget of the Company.
• Establish recruitment & manpower budgets.
• On boarding process for new joiners and establish department specific induction and integration activities for the company.
• Ensure the implementation of HR policies and procedures consistent with the Corporate HR policies.
• Oversee and suitably address staff grievances & disciplinary issues and provide appropriate guidance to line managers for efficient & satisfactory resolution of the same in line with HR policies procedures.
• Guide, train, appraise, develop, support and motivate subordinates to display high levels of individual & team performance to achieve objectives of the HR function.
• HR administrative work (keeping records updated, filing etc.), payroll, employee relations and other HR duties as and when required.
• Support the senior management in theday-to-day operations of the Human Resources department.
• Training Management and Maintaining Employee Files.
• Benefits & compensation administration, organizational, productivity & standards, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Requirements

The successful candidate will need to:
• Be based in Saudi Arabia and ideally a Saudi national (due to potential visa restrictions).
• Have 6-10 years in HR, currently an HR Manager or higher.
• Possess Strong business ability to make good judgement and take quick decisions &Interpersonal Skills.
• Have good communication and Influencing Skills.
• Have knowledge of Saudi visa and immigration practices.
• Be proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
