Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a well-established and prestigious company who have maintained their reputation for several years as one as the top organisations in the region. Our client is looking to hire a Group HR Head to manage a workforce of close to 7,000 employees across the UAE.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead the full spectrum of HR services for their UAE operations. You will be responsible for HR programs for total rewards, talent acquisition, employee development and diversity. You will work closely with the MD and other senior HR leaders for the other business units (that will report to you) to focus on advancing the company's strategic goals and defining the strategic talent management needs of the organisation. In addition, you will facilitate organisation and leadership development efforts across the region and develop and implement programs based on analysis of employee relations, employee surveys and turnover analysis as well as implementing action plans.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 15 progressive years experience within Human Resources including 5 years in a Director/Group HR Head level role. You should have solid work experience within multinational companies in the Middle East and other emerging markets. You should also have a demonstrable record of leading bold strategic initiatives and delivering outstanding results. Only candidates who have worked across a variety of diverse industry sectors will be considered.
