The Role


The Role


1. Develop the Human Resource Department as a team so it possesses the necessary professional and technical competencies to be an effective support in attaining the corporate vision;
2. Maintain communications with senior management;
3. Analyze wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plans;
4. Apply specialized knowledge of UAE Labor Law, company policies and procedures;
5. Develop directives advising department managers of company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation and employee benefits;
6. Oversee the analysis, maintenance and communication of records required by regulation and organizational departments;
7. Implement the performance appraisal system and liaise with salary administration to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within the organization;
8. Establish and develop innovative sourcing, recruitment and selection strategies to attract the best candidates;
9. Advise management of suitable resolutions regarding employee relations issues, disputes and disciplinary actions;
10. Conduct wage surveys within the labor market to determine competitive compensation rates;
11. Write and update the “Employee Handbook” on compensation, rules, organizational planning and development, and employee relations.

Education and Experience

Education: Preferably post-graduate qualification or a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Sociology, Psychology, Business Administration, Management or Organizational Development; with a proficiency in MS-Office programs;

Experience: More than five years experience in HR in a managerial position;

Person Qualities: Preferably Arabic speaker, with excellent communication, and presentation skills in English and Arabic; must be an excellent organizer; Male or Female.
