Job description / Role
A well known client of KPMG in Bahrain is seeking to recruit a Group IT Manager to manage professional information technology services of the Group.
- Responsible for the delivery of IT Services to various locations across business divisions.
- Responsible for successful implementation of the currently ongoing ERP project.
- Lead the relationship management with key stakeholders in the Business and external suppliers, ensuring that the provision of new IT services are in line with strategic goals of the Business.
- Lead, develop and motivate a diverse team of Service Delivery Analysts, Business Analysts and Application Support Analysts.
- Responsible for the development, agreement and management of IT Policies and Procedures in line with IT best practice.
- Responsible for ensuring the IT Architecture including the Communication networks meets the requirements of the Business and complies to IT best practice.
- Commercial and Operational Management of those services delivered as part of a Managed Service or Outsourced Contract. Includes the negotiation of the Services to be delivered, agreement of the SLA and validation of the back to back SLAs between the Supplier, IT and the Business.
- Ensure a appropriate Business Continuity and Back Up Solution is in place to meet the requirement of the Business.
- Ensure IT assets are tracked and managed appropriately.
- To develop IT strategies so that short to medium plans can be implemented
- Management of IT business budget for day to day activities.
- Management of the IT business budget for projects and other special activities.
Requirements
- Must have a degree in Information Technology
- Desirable candidates must have15+ years of total experience
- Experience in implementation and maintain EPR software / Project management experience
- Excellent people and communication skills with ability to deal with people and problems effectively and with ease
- Experience in Construction and industrial environment is desirable.
