Group IT Manager

Job description / Role

The Group IT Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and use of technology throughout the Group, working closely with cross functional business leaders to provide effective and efficient Technology solutions. Areas of responsibility include the full range of information systems including Oracle EBS suite. This position reports to the CFO.

- Over all responsibility for the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals.
- Develop a strategy and road map to align multiple systems and ERPs into a coherent and effective value adding solution
- Oversee the Implementation of Oracle EBS suite across 12 countries in Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan.
- Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
- Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and to end-users.
- Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements where needed
- Develop the IT staff to meet the changing needs of users, groups and offices; new projects and technologies; and varying staff strengths

Requirements

- A Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- Track Record of leading a complex IT infrastructure set up in a senior management role
- Experience with overseeing the deployment of a corporate wide Oracle ERP Solution
- FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing background is desirable.
- Arabic speaking is a must.
- Previous experience working in Saudi is required.
- Strong Stakeholder Management and communication skills.
- Comfortable with 50% travel.
