Job description / Role
My client is a leading group business who operate within the real estate market. At this time they are seeking an experienced senior lawyer to join their business, advising the board and managing their legal function. The role will involve work for their Real Estate business but also carrying out all legal tasks related 3 other subsidiaries, from various other sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to take the next step in his/her career by leading a legal team for a financially successful business.
The immediate focus of this role will be: Corporate legal restructure, new corporate formations, contracts matters, disputes resolution, real estate matters, contractor contracts and handling and managing existing legal cases. Other general work will include; compliance, corporate governance, company secretarial duties, employment law, and advising different business units on any legal matters.
Working Hours: Sun - Thurs
Reporting to: Managing Director

Requirements
Minimum 10+ years experience
Specialist knowledge:
> Current title should be a Senior Corporate/Real Estate Lawyer
> Should have an extensive history working for another Real Estate/Construction business within the GCC on mixed use development.
> Knowledge of the construction market/law in addition will be preferred but not essential
Language Fluency: Arabic & English (Essential)
