Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is a key position in a rapidly growing large organisation. You will be reporting to the Group Business Services Director and responsible for overseeing, managing and supporting all Business service functions. (ie Financial, IT, QHSE, Procurement, Stores, Insurance, Claims, Compliance, HR, Admin , Internal and external Audits)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing and directing all financial functions including accounting, treasury, financial planning and forecasts, credit control, insurance, legal and claims, projects, contracts, personnel and administration etc.
- Review, directing and overseeing the preparation of annual budget / cash flow, monthly management accounts, cash flow and variance analysis. ie, to ensure Financial Systems are developed and executed for facilitating key Management decisions.
- Design and coordinate a wide variety of accounting and financial statistical data and reports.
- Maintain close monitoring of revenues and costs and promptly address any exceptions and variations.
- Develop financial and commercial strategy for business negotiations and communications.
- Ensures best practice efforts in all financial management and control related practices including directing and control of financial reporting and regulatory requirement.
- Ensures timely and proper information flow to ensure proper coordination with legal, public relations and other internal involvement.
- Coordination with External Auditors / international firms and Consultants on IFRS audit, Due Diligence and business valuation etc.
- Advise and oversee the structuring and maintenance of internal controls within the organization, to ensure compliance with the Companys policies, procedures, process and internal controls for the Company.
- Successfully associate with planning, coordination and implementation of various computer controls and programs related with accounting, finance, administration and operational activities of the Company.
- To review and oversee the activities of the Company's Insurance and Claims Department towards the Companys insurance requirements and in connection with settlement of claims and other related matters.
- Coordinating with Company's Advocates and Legal Consultants on legal matters associated with Company's activities.
- To review and advise on Contracts / Agreements associated with Companys Projects and Operations.

Health and Safety:
- Ensure health and safety programmers are integrated into existing work systems
- Consult and communicate to promote health and safety in the work place.
- Assist in identification and assessment of workplace hazards and develop control strategies.
- Responsible for workplace inspections and accident investigations.
- To assess the impact of planned OHS and actual changes in workplace and work practices.
- Responsible for recording and analysis of relevant OHS data.

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree
- Professional Accounting qualification is highly desired
- At least 10 years Finance management experience in a large group within Industrial Manufacturing/Construction/ Shipping/Logistics industry with at least 5 years in a similar senior manager role
- Previous experience managing projects across IT, Procurement, HR functions
- Strong, result-oriented with well-developed leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
