The RoleThe RoleThe multiple award-winning Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts has been conceptualized as a “Sanctuary for the Senses” whose beautiful properties can be found in stunning locations such as the Seychelles, the Maldives, Bintan (Indonesia), Phuket (Thailand), Bangkok (Thailand), Ringha (China) and Lijiang (China). In partnership with the iconic and landmark development the Meydan Racecourse, Banyan Tree will be operating “The Meydan” Hotel consisting of 280 Suites, 5 spectacular restaurants, a signature Banyan Tree Spa and meeting facilities for up to 400 guests. We are looking for a highly motivated candidates who is passionate about the job and career in the hotel industry. Guest Relations Manager's Responsibilities: 1. Prepares duty rosters for the Guest Relations Supervisor, Guest Relations Hosts. 2. To greet guests on arrival at the hotel and conduct in room check-in and registration procedures. 3. Ensures suites are checked prior to guests check-in to ensure they are clean, properly equipped and in a high standard of maintenance. 4. To implement and maintain guest recognition and history program. 5. To handle guest complaints, inquiries, and comments, log them and initiate appropriate action and follow up 6. To maintain an up to date files and information on tours, sightseeing and points of general interest and make the necessary bookings when requested 7. To conduct inspections of the public areas of the main lobby ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance and initiating appropriate action where necessary. 8. To conduct hotel site inspections when directed 9. To up-sell all facilities in the hotel, i.e. spa and outlets 10. To entertain guests as and when appropriate 11. To assist the cashiers with guest billing procedures 12. To ensure that guest check out arrangements are in order, and to bid the guests farewell 13. To carry out administrative requirements as directed 14. Assists in the selection, training and evaluation of Guest Relations Supervisor, Guest Relations Hosts, and Hotel Hosts. 15. Coaches, counsels, disciplines and develops Japanese Guest Relations Supervisor, Guest Relations Hosts, Angsana Executive Club Hosts, Business Centre Hosts, Concierge and Hotel Hosts. |
RequirementsRequirements• With 3 – 4 years relevant experience in similar position in a International Luxury hotel in the Middle East • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests/visitors and coworkers in writing, by telephone, and in person • Strong ability to forge professional relationships with guests and coworkers. • Previous Guest Relations and Front Office experience in a Hotel required. • Actively monitor customer satisfaction upon guest departure and reports any problems • To build relationships with first-time and regular customers through guest recognition and professionalism • Good communicator with all staff level and ability to maintain positive relationships • Innovative and creative |
