Job description / Role
• You must have a good knowledge on offshore and onshore drilling/exploration rigs and drilling activities.
• You have thorough knowledge on well testing and H2S.
• You are able to prepare the risk assessments and contingency plans for separate wells.
• You are able to prepare well site survey, Hazard identifications and JSA.
• You have the knowledge of well control procedures.
• You have the knowledge of rescue and first aid.
• You are able to maintain and repair all breathing air equipment.
• You have the certificate of TRAIN THE TRAINER for H2S
• You have completed the T-BOSIET courses.
Requirements
Mechanical / Chemical engineer
5 to 7 years experience in chemical / mechanical engineering
You are responsible for the maintenance of high-pressure cascades systems, high-pressure loop systems, high pressure compressors and various makes of SCABA sets, work & escape.
You are responsible for rigging up cascades breathing air systems and electronic detection systems on operating rigs while maintaining and calibrating the same.
You are responsible of the training H2S Safety, first responder and Medic First Aid and basic firefighting to personnel.
You are responsible for maintaining a safe environment when drilling through H2S.
You are responsible for advising on safer practices when dealing with H2S and general safety.
