Job description / Role
HACCP Food Safety HSE Manager - Must have UAE Food Safety Experience.
Our client is a world class MNC and we are recruiting a food safety HSE&Q Manager who will be responsible for the HSE & compliance activities related to food safety.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and ensuring that food production, catering and food services are complying with UAE statutory and company HSE&Q standards, policies and procedures to avoid food contamination and related risks
- Conducting internal investigations and audits related to food safety
- Managing external audits
- Training team members on HSE and food risk management
- Liaising with Municipality and government bodies for required certifications and approvals
- Implementation of HSE policies, procedures, processes and systems
- Working with food suppliers, the Purchasing Department & Supply Chain department to ensure the quality of products are to the standards required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma
- HACCP qualifications & training
- NEBOSH qualifications & training
- Certification in Food Hygiene
- 4 - 10 years food safety HSE&Q experience contract catering, industrial catering, food services or hospitality in the UAE / GCC or Middle East
- Conducting food safety audits and investigations
- Report writing skills
- HSE&Q in contract catering, industrial catering and hospitality
- Excellent working knowledge of HACC food safety standards
- Investigate and report on accidents, near misses, fatalities and work related injuries
- Ability to train and coach team members
Candidate Profile
- Ability to communicate - fluency in English is essential
- UAE driving license is an advantage
- Physically fit
