HES/F&B Inspector

Job description / Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the retail outlets (specially restaurants, cafes, food courts, canteen, hotels and super markets) are following the Health requirements on food hygiene, safety of products and services. Will be also responsible for ensuring minimum HSE standards are followed.

1. Inspect all licensed units as frequently as may be prescribed by the department; and make inquiries and inspections as may be necessary.
2. Procure sample and send for analysis in case of contravention, surveillance.
3. Investigate any complaint in respect of any contravention of the provisions of Dubai Municipality.
4. Carry out food safety surveillance to identify and address the safety hazards.
5. To coordinate and facilitate the introduction of food safety systems.
6. Verify the units are follow safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
7. Track and maintain records for area inspection, kitchen equipment inspection
8. Work with restaurant managers on food hygiene and safety concerns and issues to identify deviations and recommend corrective actions to make improvements to existing processes and conditions.
9. Investigate all incidents related to food and HES at all retail outlets to recommend corrective and preventive action measures.
10. To keep abreast with new laws, directives & standards and other development in the field of Safety, Health & Environment.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree
- Certificate, Diploma in HSE is preferred
- At least 3 years experience as a food & beverage inspector with relevant certification
- Hospitality background is mandatory
- GCC experience is absolutely necessary
