HIS Specialist – Security Services

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client we are recruiting HIS Specialists - Security Services

- The Information Security lead candidate will assume charge of the Information security area, providing leadership and direction for the security functions and liaising closely with other IT leads. The purpose of function, in turn, is to bring the organization’s information security risks under explicit management control through the implementation of an Information Security Management System and the application of proper security policies and procedures.

Requirements

- A Graduate degree / Post Graduate degree (preferred) in computer science or engineering.
- Ten+ years experience in information and systems security. Must have major experience in maintaining information security in a hospital environment or an environment similar to that of HMC. Must have extensive knowledge in security technologies and its application.
- Certification in an International Information Systems Security such as CISSP, (ISC)², or CISM.
- Typically a background in technical IT roles such as IT architecture, development or operations, with a clear and abiding interest in information security
- Experience driving at least one organization for the end to end successful implementation of ISMS and industry standard certification thereafter.

- Strong Interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
