Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The HR Advisor - UAE is responsible for supporting the UAE Country Leadership with strategic and operational HR service & support. This ranges from developing and implementing a HR strategy for BP UAE to managing day to day HR activities such as recruitment, HR policy & process implementation, Payroll, employee relations etc. In addition, as member of the Middle East HR team, the role holder will actively participate in regional projects & activities.

1. Develop and Implement an Annual HR Plan for BP UAE

2. Represent BP on all HR matters with BP's JV partners (ADMA and ADCO OPCOs) and develop strong relations with JV HR teams to manage ongoing interactions in relation to all staff deployment matters

3. Generate monthly HR reports / Dashboard and submit to Management (such reports would include KPI's, turnover, new recruits, Headcount (Expatriates, nationals, local hires), recruitment tracker, HR Budget and others). Maintain up to data employee database and feed information to region and segment

4. Responsible for the completion of the yearly Reward Cycle for UAE Staff (annual salary review, monthly payroll, Annual Bonus etc) by working closely with Regional Reward team.

5. Manage all recruitment activities including coordinating the on-boarding & Induction for the new comers into BP UAE.

6. Manage the local employee payroll & benefit programmes (medical and life scheme) for the local employees.

7. Develop and implement appropriate HR policies and systems for BP UAE taking into account UAE Labor Laws and BP Policy & Standards Lead on compliance related activities.

8. Lead on employee engagement activities and work with line management to develop and implement a positive work environment in the workplace. Support line managers in dealing with employee relation issues

9. To act as HR Business Partner for the region for assigned functional group

Requirements

* Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Public Administration / Human Resources

* Minimum 5 years or more as HR Generalist operating

* Good oral and written English Language skills
