HR Assistant (Maternity Cover 6 Months)

Employment: Full Time

Urgent requirement for a HR Assistant for a reputable multinational company based in Sharjah.

This is a maternity cover and will only be a 6-7 month contract.

your main responsibilities will be as follows:
• Monitor compliance of HR policies, procedures and systems throughout the Business.
• Provide accurate advice and guidance to line managers and employees on HR policies and practices.
• Keep abreast of changes to labour law in the relevant Middle East & India countries, highlighting changes for review to the HR Manager.
• Working closely with the HR Manager on recruitment needs to manage and maintain the internal system
• Prepare accurate contractual documentation for Middle East/India employees ensuring that all appropriate paperwork is duly signed and returned and that these obtain accurate references.
o Preparation of offers (local, overseas & India) in line with approved staff requisitions for HR Manager’s review
o Ensure job offer, Job description, Medical Questionnaire & Reference Form are sent to selected candidates in a timeous manner and ensure receipt of signed copies of Offer Letters and pre-employment forms received in time to prepare for on-boarding formalities
• Advise HR Admin/Visa Liaison Officer of accepted offer documents received for him to start visa processing, induction pack preparation, user ID creation and e-mail signature set up.
• Administer the local Regional Personal Accident and Life Cover Policy (PA & LC)
- Maintain accurate members list to ensure it reflects accurate staff changes: additions, deletions, salary changes, location changes etc.
- Preparation of all supporting documents and liaising with employees for necessary documents for claims when required
- Manage annual renewal and timely payment administration with Finance
- Liaise with the Insurance Broker for queries, payments etc.
• Preparation of Staff Change Advice forms (contractual changes to salaries and benefits) for Line Manager, General Manager and Divisional Director approval

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to be already based in the UAE, ideally in Sharjah.
You need to be available to start in March.
You will have strong attention to detail
You will have proven experience of working in a similar role.
