Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose of the Job

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager – Dubai this job will be responsible to guide and support the HR department team in the management of employee related benefits for all Jebel Ali (JA)contracted employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incentive scheme allocation and payout for JA contracted employees and liaise with the finance department for payout.
• Manage Sharesave for JA contracted employees- new enrollments, closures, maturities and related queries.
• Review all job descriptions for JA contracted employees and ensure they are up to date.
• Responsible for supplier contract management for HR (visa agencies, service providers, etc).
• Manage the Change of Employment process – review job descriptions, salary comparisons with peers and the market seek required approvals, amend employment terms and conditions and then implement it through payroll.
• To conduct surveys and analyze third party market data and make recommendations based on this data. This may include market data, employee movements and new employee data.
• Update and manage the HR QMS - Policies by ensuring that the Jebel Ali policies and procedures are in line with aggreko global standards, local legislation, and best practice.
• Responsible for providing the HR monthly reports to Leadership team.
• Payroll back-up for JA contracted employees.
• To ensure the X- Drive and JA org charts are regularly updated.

Requirements

Person Specification

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR and compensation related role in a multinational company
• Bachelor’s degree in a HR related field or equivalent professional qualification like CIPD, SPHR
• Have a good understanding of UAE labour law
• Previous experience in running a monthly payroll for at least 2 years for more than 500 employees
• Cross cultural work experience is advantageous
• Fluent in English with good communications skills
• Ability to travel if and when required
