Job Description
* The primary areas of responsibility will include supporting the Retail Cleints business group across the Middle East & Pakistan region.
* The role holder is responsible for driving bottom-line business performance through creating an effective, efficient organisation where maximising employees performance and engagement is at the heart of every interaction
* Act as a catalyst, stimulating high engagement through ensuring great manager behaviours - including appropriate configuration of people product and processes
* Promote a strengths based organisation, supported by a strong performance culture

Key Roles & Responsibilities
* The role holder would be expected to implement a Strategic People Agenda (SPA) for their areas of responsibility
* Support line managers in configuring and deploying Group people policies, products and processes to drive engagement thereby driving business performance
* Integrates HR products to provide business solutions
* Proactively coach leadership teams within their area of responsibility both as a team and as individuals to drive business performance through people practices e.g. high engagement, people development, playing to strengths
* Ensure a robust talent pipeline to meet the future needs of the functions through managers identifying developing and appropriately stretching talent at every level. Strengthen business capabilities through proactive management of critical talent.
* Ensure all employee relations concerns are dealt with promptly, in line with relevant country regulations and Group policy and guidance.
* Drives the Bank's culture in creating a 'preferred' work place for our employees and fosters an environment where employee behaviour is aligned to our values
* Assists with the continuous review of the Retail Clients operating model for its cost efficiency and demonstrate proactively in surfacing and securing improvements.
* Represent the Retail Clients business and its agenda to the wider HR Community
* Collaborate with Business HR colleagues on all products e.g. Engagement and Talent Management, to agree stakeholder engagement, drive functional strategies, processes and messages at the Country level
* Collaborate with colleagues across HR (including specialists and HRSSC) to ensure continuous improvement in the function

Requirements

* Experience of being a HR Relationship Manager at a country level
* Understanding of the business function including key products, key roles, operating models and strategic agendas
* Understand financials (e.g. interpreting financial statements, budgeting, project accounting)
* Understands how to implement a Strategic People Agenda
* Knowledge and understanding of the various HR products and how to implement them within a country/region (e.g. engagement, performance management) to address business issues
* Understanding and practical experience of managing medium complexity Employee Relations activities e.g., managing redundancies, grievances & disciplinary process
* Comfortable analysing and manipulating data in order to assist decision making process and to put forward ideas

* Forms effective relationships with key stakeholders and able to build credibility with their businesses

* Solid experience of data analysis and MS Excel skills
* Able to build impactful presentations and comfortable working with MS PowerPoint
