Our client, a leading regional bank is looking for a HRBP to join their operations in Dubai.

The role holder is responsible for driving bottom-line business performance through creating an effective, efficient organisation where maximising employees performance and engagement is at the heart of every interaction
- Act as a catalyst, stimulating high engagement through ensuring great manager behaviours (including appropriate configuration of people product and processes) which ensure employee needs are satisfied and managers and employees are playing to their strengths.
- Partners key clients in aligning business and people strategies, directions and objectives through appropriate advice / interventions.
- Support line managers in configuring and deploying Group people policies, products and processes to drive engagement thereby driving business performance
- Integrates HR products to provide business solutions
- Initiates and facilitates group interventions to solve business problems
- Developing HR practices that act as strategic differentiators
- Proactively coach leadership teams within their area of responsibility both as a team and as individuals to drive business performance through people practices e.g. high engagement, people development, playing to strengths
- Ensure a robust talent pipeline to meet the future needs of the functions through managers identifying developing and appropriately stretching talent at every level. Strengthen business capabilities through proactive management of critical talent.
- Drives the Bank's culture in creating a 'preferred' work place for our employees and fosters an environment where employee behaviour is aligned to our values
- Plays a key role in managing complex organisational change projects with people implications.
- Leads on the continuous review of the operating model for its cost efficiency and demonstrate proactively in surfacing and securing improvements.
- Represent the business and its agenda to the wider HR Community
- Collaborate with Business HR colleagues on all products e.g. Engagement and Talent Management, to agree stakeholder engagement, drive functional strategies, processes and messages at the Regional level
- Collaborate with colleagues across HR (including specialists) to ensure continuous improvement in the function
- Act as a formal/informal coach and mentor for junior members of the HR function to ensure delivery of best practise HR and appropriate stakeholder management

Requirements

- 5-8 years of HR generalist experience in the banking industry (AVP or VP level) is a MUST
- Demonstrated experience in strategic consulting and negotiation, organizational design, and change management with senior leaders/executives.
- Demonstrated experience in multiple HR disciplines to include talent development, talent management and succession, compensation, performance management, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, team member engagement, executive coaching and change management.
- Outstanding influencing and partnering/collaboration skills.
- Highly self-aware and effectively coaches others.
- Proven experience in managing multiple complex projects with peers, partners and senior leaders/executives; adopting new concepts and applying them to the business strategically and with a sense of urgency; developing and concisely presenting recommendations to senior leaders/executives.
- Proven ability in overcoming obstacles and standing firm in difficult discussions with peers, partners and senior leaders/executives; communicating and negotiating with peers, partners and senior leaders/executives.
- Demonstrated ability to both think strategically and at the same time focus on execution.
- Demonstrated analytical/critical thinking skills including the ability to effectively question assumptions, identify root causes and recommend systemic solutions.
- First-hand experience in providing executive coaching, organizational consulting and facilitating talent planning with senior/executive leadership teams.
- Demonstrated success leading and implementing change.
