Employment: Full Time

Varian Medical Systems Int. is excited to be opening a new office in Riyadh. After several years serving our customers in hospitals, we will establish a joint venture with our local partner. This is a very exciting opportunity to build a new organization in a growing market. The individual will work closely with the Managing Director, Saudi Arabia on all HR related matters. In this role you are member of the European and Middle East HR team.

- Establishing the Varian Arabia legal entity in all HR related matters
- Monitoring labor law requirements and ensuring full compliance for all laws and regulation;
- Recruiting for all functions for Business Units
- Assuming responsibility for payroll processing and employee administration related to employment visas, Iqama, and works permit
- Maintaining HRIS data in SAP-HR and local HRIS if required
- Securing HR-related compliance with regard to Saudi FDA, Data privacy and Company Q&A Processes.
- Establishing HR processes and procedures under Saudi Labor Law such as employee handbook, expense policies etc and adapting company policies to local requirements.
- Working closely with Ministry of Labor on GOSI Insurance Topics.
- Rolling out company programs such as salary planning, succession planning, goal cascading, etc. to the client group
- Facilitating group meetings such as manager assimilation and team building
- Coaching and providing training to managers and employees
- Working independently on a broad range of issues

Requirements

- Saudi National is a must
- Bachelors degree in Science or Business Administration with focus on Human Resources Management
- Minimum 6 years experience HR experience in Saudi Arabia
- Profound background in all employee life cycle processes like recruiting, compensation, performance management.
- Good knowledge in local labor law
- Experience in compliance and regulation in HR related matters
- Experience in establishing new HR processes, procedures and standard for new entities
- Experience in working in an industrial environment
- Experience in matrix functional organizations and work with different stakeholders across the globe.
- Proficient in utilizing MS Office business tools
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP software desired

Travel:
- 10% travel in GCC countries and Europe
